Guests should fly into Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport (KOA) at Keahole, located 20 minutes away from Kona Village to the North and Kailua-Kona to the South

  • We highly recommend flying in the weekend before so you have time to get settled and adjust to the time difference.

  • There are some direct flights from Kona from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Seattle Tacoma International Aiport (SEA), among others. Please note that frequency and availability of these flights may vary depending on the day of the week.

  • Most (if not all) of our wedding events will take place at Kona Village. However, if you’d like to explore the rest of the Big Island while you're here, we definitely recommend renting a car. We’ll be sharing a map of all our favorite places very soon.

  • Yes. Kona Village offers free self-parking and valet parking for $40/night.

When Trisha first visited the Hawaiian islands with her family almost 15 years ago, she felt a deep sense of connectedness to the mana (or energy) of the land that never truly left. That feeling was strongest on the Big Island of Hawai’i, where her parents have a home just north of the eastern coastal town of Hilo.

It’s also the place where Peter asked Trisha to be his girlfriend over 5 years ago.

We wanted to celebrate our marriage in a place that captures the island’s raw beauty, while evoking the same sense of awe that first made us fall in love with (and fall in love in) the Big Island so many years ago. We chose Kona Village because it embodies how we want our wedding to feel: intimate, thoughtful, with a strong sense of place—an ideal setting where the land, its history, and our favorite people could coalesce for what we hope will be a truly special celebration.
